The Asian Cup 2023 starts on 30th August,Pak vs Ind on Sep 2

The 2023 Asian Cup kicks off a day ahead of schedule in Multan on 30 August, with Pakistan playing Nepal in the opening match of the Six Nations Tournament.
The match in Multan is also the return of the Asian Cup after a 15-year hiatus in Pakistan, which is preparing to co-host with Sri Lanka in a hybrid model.

In a press release, PCB said four venues would be used for the 13-match tournament. After the opener in Multan, it was also said that the remaining three games in Pakistan would be played in Lahore.
According to the report, Sri Lanka will have Kandy in three of their first round matches and Colombo in five of the Super 4 stage and the final on September 17.
The first match between Pakistan and India is scheduled for September 2 in Kandy. If both teams reach the Super 4 stage, their second match will take place on 10 September in Colombo. The ACC and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) today announced the tournament schedule.

According to it, the 50-over tournament will be held from August 30 to September 17, with four matches for Pakistan and nine matches for Sri Lanka. Pakistan and India will be seeded A1 and A2 respectively, while Nepal will be the third team in Group A, while Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will be seeded B1 and B2 respectively in Group B, with Afghanistan being the third team.
