ICC officials left ‘impressed’ by Pakistan.

ICC Officials have been here since Wednesday and are meeting senior officials of the Pakistan Cricket Board, including Najam Sethi, interim chairman of the board’s administrative committee.
The visit comes amid ongoing clash between the PCB and the Indian Cricket Control Board over the upcoming Asian Cup and World Cup.
Sources claim there have been discussions between PCB and ICC officials on the matter, but the two agencies have refrained from speaking on the matter at an official level. “During their pre-scheduled two-day visit, Mr Barclay and Mr Aradis met with Mr Najam Sethi (Chairman of the PCB) and other PCB representatives to discuss a wide range of issues of mutual interest in cricket, including promotion, growth and development,” PCB statement said.
Barkley only commented on how he and Aradis see progress in Pakistani sport in recent years, especially since full-blown cricket has returned to the country.
“I want to visit all the Member countries and see how cricket and cricket administration operates in their respective fields as every country is different in terms everything and where they might sit in the cricketing hierarchy,” the ICC president was quoted as saying in the press release.
“The cricket programmes are great here. Now international cricket has returned to Pakistan and the PCB is able to successfully deliver great arrangements at home, I think we`ll see Pakistan cricket reach another level for both men and women, and that will also have a positive impact of Pakistan in the world. In my view,we have a strategy to grow the game globally and we should see where the PCB fits in.I am highly impressed for what I have seen”.

Najam sethi is thankful to Barclay and and Allardice for making the visit.
“The PCB is looking forward to more discussions and working closely with the ICC. we should put together global strategies and plans to achieve the common objective of growing and developing the game by attracting new audiences,” said the PCB chief.
