9 fashion tips for summer styling

1. Wear light-colored clothes

Choose bright colors or white dresses and button-down shirts that reflect the sun’s rays rather than absorb them.

2. Choose sleeveless or loose sleeves

When it comes to summer clothing, the goal is to allow as much air circulation as possible. It doesn’t have to be completely strapless, but consider a sleeveless camisole or off-the-shoulder blouse, or one with puffed sleeves. Another good option is a short-sleeved shirt.

3. Avoid tight clothing

Loose clothing is the best way to stay cool in the summer. Choose cropped wide-leg pants, loose-fitting shirts, oversized blouses, and dresses and skirts that allow plenty of room to breathe.

4. Be Particular about your sportswear

Technical fabrics tend to be good at wicking moisture, but they’re not always great for summer because they fit so close to the body. If you’re an athleisure fan, swap out your usual black leggings and sweatshirt for colorful bike shorts, tank tops and short sleeve crop tops.

5. Choose breathable fabrics

It may not matter in other seasons, but in the summer you will definitely notice the difference between breathable fabrics and moisture-retaining fabrics. Synthetic fabrics are generally not breathable. So use the clothing label to see if the clothing is made of his 100% linen, cotton or silk.

6. No more jeans

Denim is one of the heaviest fabrics. Wearing stretch or skinny jeans may feel too hot for summer style. Look for lightweight cotton or linen pants instead. If you absolutely have to wear jeans, choose wide-leg jeans that have some ventilation. 7. Rely on clothes
Dresses aren’t just for special occasions. A comfortable sundress is an easy option for those days when you don’t know what to wear. Summer is the best time to bring
Ditch minidresses, rompers, and miniskirts. But it’s okay to wear it longer. Opt for a sleeveless maxi dress or long skirt for a bohemian summer look. A dress with a tie in the front can be a little more airy.

8. Wear leather sandals

Flip-flops are great for hitting the beach, but to spice up your look, opt for strappy sandals or espadrilles with vented toes. Leather sandals come in a comfortable variety that look more stylish than standard foam flip-flops.

9. Minimize accessories

Many dangling necklaces and bracelets can stick to your skin when it’s hot. Opt for statement accessories such as hoop earrings and casual bangles.
