A sculpture of the father of the nation, Quaid-e-Azam, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, was unveiled at a prestigious ceremony in Beijing. The sculpture was created by famous Chinese master sculptor Yuan Xikun and is considered a symbol of the enduring friendship between Pakistan and China. Master Yuan Xikun is internationally known for his sculptural skills and commitment to the environment, winning numerous prestigious awards.
His portfolio includes 25 sculptures of historical world figures housed in the International Celebrity Sculpture Garden at the Beijing Jintai Art Museum. Ambassador Moin-ul-Haq spoke at the event and praised Master Yuan for his artistic talent and meticulous attention to detail in creating this important sculpture.
The unveiling of the Quaid-e-Azam sculpture in Beijing pays homage to Pakistan’s founding father and the shared values of both countries and underlines the strong and deep-rooted ties between Pakistan and China.
