We have not yet discussed seat arrangements, PML-N’s Saad Rafique said

Saad Rafiq made the comments after a PML-N delegation, including Ayaz Sadiq and Bashir Memon, visited the MQM-P leadership office in Bahadurabad, Karachi.
His comments came after a surprising development after the “election alliance” announced by the PML-N and MQM-P on Tuesday was apparently downgraded to “seat adjustment”.
On Tuesday, a three-member MQM-P delegation comprising Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Farooq Sattar and Mustafa Kamal visited Sharif brothers Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif in Model Town Lahore. At the beginning of today’s press conference in Karachi, Prime Minister Siddiqui welcomed the PML-N delegation. He expressed hope that the relationship between the two parties would be an “important step” for Pakistan’s democracy and security. Mr. Siddiqui then invited Mr. Rafiq to speak. Mr. Rafique thanked the MQM-P leadership for welcoming the PML-N leadership and said, “Both parties are of the same opinion that Pakistan’s democracy needs to be transformed into a people’s democracy.” “There is,” he said. and to provide legal and constitutional protection. ”
The PML-N chief said parties should remain calm and make “electoral adjustments” before the elections if possible. If that is not possible, the government and opposition formed after the elections will need to work on a democracy charter and agree on an economic charter, he said.
