All flights from Stansted Airport have been canceled due to runway closures due to bad weather.
Heathrow and Gatwick canceled or delayed flights after snow, ice and freezing fog gripped the UK. A yellow warning has been issued for Scotland, London and south-west England until Monday morning, with disruption expected to continue.
Trains were also delayed and drivers were warned to take care after several accidents on the motorway. Stansted said the only runway was closed on Sunday evening and all flights were canceled for snow removal due to weather conditions.
The cold snap is expected to continue tonight, which may cause further inconvenience to airport access.
