Afghanistan will host Pakistan in the T20 series in Sharjah from 25 March.

Afghanistan announced Tuesday that it will host Pakistan in his third Twenty20 Internationals in Sharjah later this month.
The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has announced that their home season will begin with a series against Pakistan.
“Afghanistan’s 2023-24 international home season will kick off with a three-game T20I home series against Pakistan in Sharjah on March 25, 27 and 29,” written in ACB publication.
Afghanistan was due to start the season in one-day international series against Australia in March this year, but Cricket Australia (CA) refused to play in protest over the treatment of women in the war-torn country.CA has also refused to host Afghanistan for a test match in November 2021 for the same reason.ACB president Mirwais Ashraf welcomed Pakistan’s decision to compete with his team.
“I am grateful to the Pakistan Cricket Board for their readiness to face Afghanistan in March.This is an important achievement for his two neighboring countries,” Ashraf said in a statement.
Afghanistan has previously faced Pakistan in multinational events,three times at the T20 International and four times at the ODI, without a win so far, but this is the first time between the two countries,It will be a bilateral series.
