Imran Khan could be arrested during investigative phase of Scrambler probe,says Sanaullah

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said on Thursday that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) could arrest former Prime Minister Imran Khan if he does not cooperate with the crypto investigation.

The minister’s warning, in a confession allegedly made public on Wednesday, that former chief of staff Imran is trying to provoke political interests and build “anti-establishment narratives” behind “classified” documents It was announced a day after he accused his former boss of using the Pakistani mission’s cipher to the United States.

Sanaulllah also held a press conference on Wednesday to lend credence to a loyalty statement circulated on social media and attack the PTI chief.

Shortly after his press statement, the FIA ​​issued a notice to Imran urging him to appear at the Islamabad office on 25 July in connection with the cryptographic investigation.
Today, the Home Secretary updated the FIA’s investigation and reminded the former prime minister to prepare for legislation.
