Imran khan’s Desperate Plea for Freedom: A Heart-Wrenching Life Behind Bars

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has told his legal team not to be in prison, according to Attock prison sources familiar with the meeting between Pakistan’s Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) president and his lawyer.

Sources told Geo News that Khan, accused of corruption in the Toshakhana case and sentenced to three years in prison, was unhappy and worried about being locked in his cell in “distressing” conditions.
Khan’s attorney, Naeem Haider Panjotha was given permission by prison authorities to see him on Monday.

After meeting the PTI president, he said the former prime minister was being held in “horrific” conditions and provided “class C prison facilities”.
According to sources, PTI Chairman, when meeting with his lawyer, expressed concern about the prison environment with flies entering his cell during the day and insects at night.

“Get me out of here, I don’t want to be in jail,” officials quoted Khan as saying during a meeting with his lawyer.

Panjotha added that the PTI leadership was in high spirits despite all the hardships and vowed to spend the rest of her life in prison but would not bow to slavery.
