On February 6th,a 7.8-magnitude earthquake hit Turkey and Syria, killing hundreds and severely damaging many homes and businesses. So far, about 46,000 people have died in the earthquake in both countries
15 people have been rescued from the rubble so far by the Punjab State Emergency Service team, Rescue-1122, which participates in the rescue and relief efforts in Turkiye.
Rescue-1122 representatives said Pakistani rescuers pulled three of the bodies from the rubble of a building in Hatay on Sunday.
The crew combed 146 sites in Hatay and Adiyaman districts looking for survivors and dead. After searching 184, the team found 63 in the rubble. They even took out a young boy alive after 137 hours of quake.
