Islamabad’s Centaurus Cinema played a special screening of “Allahyar” and the 100 Flowers of God, Pakistan’s first stereoscopic, 3D movie.
The story of Allahyar, who journeys to another world with his closest friend “Hero the Chakor” to save his father from a race of merciless robots that are poaching wood, is an exciting, fast-paced adventure.
Allahyar’s efforts to save his father really result in saving the planet from impending destruction brought on by decades of deforestation and pollution.
The film starring the supremely talented Iqra Aziz as Aira, our chocolate boy Azfar Jafri as Hero, Anum Zaidi as Allahyar, Ali Zafar as Minister, Meera as Bush Prince, Humayun Saeed as Sage, Bushra Ansari as Aunty Liz, Azlan as azlan and Nadia Jamil as a cameo.
The movie is all about humour for a young audience with significant social messages.
Original soundtracks for the movie are provided by Ali Zafar, Sanam Marvi, Ali Noor, and Grehan the band.
The film’s director, writer, and producer, Uzair Zaheer Khan, remarked that,”it was both tough and enjoyable to work on Allahyar and the 100 Flowers of God. It helped us develop and learn. Additionally, Covid-19 caused us to work on it for a longer period of time than we had anticipated. The project represents the fruit of years of toil, ingenuity, and the relentless efforts of our gifted team. Although this movie has garnered excellent reviews from viewers and the animation genre is prevalent in Pakistan, we think the biggest challenge is advertising and spreading the word to let others know about the movie.
I believe that the animation industry and genre have a bright future, and when you develop a movie like this, other people are inspired to follow in your footsteps,” he added.
