Former Australian fast bowler Brett Lee has expressed his admiration for Pakistani captain Babar Azam, saying ,” he is his favorite batsman in world cricket and his impressive skills on the cricket pitch and praised his talent”.
In a recent interview with local media,Brett repeated his gesture towards the 28-year-old, praising his skills.
“My favorite hitter is Babar Azam,beautiful cover drive,” said Brett Lee.
Earlier, South African batsman David Miller chose Babar Azam’s cover of his drive instead of Virat Kohli’s cover of him in a segment called “You have to answer” on ESPNCricinfo.
Left-handed players were asked to choose from among the aforementioned hitters, and Miller preferred the Pakistani captain’s classic shot.
