Gold rates hit high in pakistan

Gold costs continuing their best spree as one-tola and 10-gram rates on Saturday hit a recent peak of Rs172,200 and Rs148,062 when adding Rs800 and Rs686 severally.

All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association (ASSJA) quoted a jump of $11 to $1,793 per ounce on the planet markets.

Gold costs have up by Rs46,000 per tola and Rs39,866 per ten grams since January rates stood at Rs126,200 and Rs 108,196, severally, even once the international value of the brass was hovering around $1,830 an oz..

Also, the U.S.A. greenback modified hands at Rs178 within the interbank on 1st january against Rs225 currently, showing a 26pc devaluation of the native currency since then.

However, sales of wedding sets have still been subdued as several families badly hit by unprecedented inflation and highest-ever utility bills, therefore they are finding it arduous to shop for gold and compromise on buying low-weight jewelley sets.
